Tiwi dive sites

North of our Dive center, 35 min of navigation. This reef, where corals abound, is a superb drop-off ranging from -6 m to -27 m. Visibility is very variable, strongly favored by the flow of the Tiwi River which flows into the sea. This is also where a school of Barracudas lives. The wall allows for attractive photography with caves and overhangs making the perfect background.

AVERAGE DEPTH, SUITABLE FOR:

The dive is between 10 and 15 metres and its suitable for Intermediate & experienced divers.

Mwanamochi

Mwanamochi is a long reef (1.5 kms) that is usually dived as a drift, if conditions allow. 

There is an exciting coral head on the reef that often has huge amounts of small reef fish. We can see Yellow striped snappers, helmet flying gurnard, octopus, lobsters, ribbon eel, blue spotted ray and whale sharks if we are lucky.

AVERAGE DEPTH, SUITABLE FOR:

The dive is 15 metres and its suitable for Intermediate & experienced divers.

Alpha Funguo Wreck

Funguo wreck is one of Kenya’s top dive sites with an abundance of fish life; especially good for marco photography. Located just 5 minutes from Endless Scuba Diving. Great macro life, blue stripe snappers, nudibranch, frogfish, grouper, barracuda, batfish, jackfish, garden eels, beared scorpion fish, king fish, sting ray. The dive is between -17 m and -28 m. and it is absolutely magic.

AVERAGE DEPTH, SUITABLE FOR:

The dive is between 17 m and 28 and its suitable for Beginners, Intermediate & Experienced divers.

Shark Alley

The name “Shark Alley” reef has been given after its famous «guitar sharks» and white tip reef sharks.

Small corals are situated around the dive site, accompanied by a big coral mound in the middle.

AVERAGE DEPTH, SUITABLE FOR:

The dive is between 8m and 22 m and it’s suitable for Beginners, Intermediate & Experienced divers.

Galu

A large reef that extends to the south. Galu reef is home to both attractive corals and groups of fish. It is on this reef that we see most of the rarer fish – sea horses, ghost pipe fish, frog fish, flying gurnards, ghost morays and leaf fish.

The dive is between 10 and 15 metres and its suitable for Intermediate & experienced divers.

Mwanyaza

An attractive sloping reef teeming with various species of turtles and stingrays. This is heaven of marine life to admire and the ideal beginner dive site due to the reef lying a mere 15 minutes boat journey from the base.

AVERAGE DEPTH, SUITABLE FOR:

Average depth of this dive is 14 metres and it is suitable for intermediate divers.

Dzinani

Dzinani is pleasant drift dive for beginners on the shallower western side and for experienced divers on the deeper eastern side. A necklace of coral reefs which lie in white sand offer an attractive contrast of landscapes.

Vast schools of both large and small reef fish located on the southern reefs making this a breath-taking dive.

AVERAGE DEPTH, SUITABLE FOR:

Average depth of this dive is 14 metres and it is suitable for intermediate divers&experienced divers.

Kinondo

Kinondo is one of the popular part. The fish population on Konondo reef is greater than on any other reef located on Kenya’s South Coast. Large schools of barracuda , shoals of yellow and blue lined snappers , red snappers, trigger fish and the greatest possibility of seeing pelagic fish. Moray eels and lobsters also frequent this reef. Quite simply one of Kenya’s best dives.
